Castaway Cay has the perk of a private swimming pool. No fighting crowds to get in a swim at a hotel pool. The backyard area is fenced in, so you can swim in blissful privacy. There are lounge chairs for relaxing, napping, and sitting back with a drink in hand. The backyard is very large, even with a big pool! Everyone can spend time together without being crowded. Castaway Cay has a private pool and is close to the beach! What more could you ask for? Pack a lunch and head to the beach for the whole day. Spend time searching for seashells, taking long strolls along the shore, and wading in the ocean waves. Kids will enjoy building sandcastles or flying kites that reach incredible heights in the ocean breeze. At Castaway Cay, you can say hello to the beach daily with just a short walk down the road.

We had been to Myrtle beach before, but usually stayed at a condo or resort. Now that we have a dog, we needed something else and this was perfect! My husband and I went with my parents and our mini double doodle, Cooper. The rental agency was great with communicating and answering questions from the beginning and throughout our stay. The house is absolutely beautiful and bathrooms are very convenient to all bedrooms. Pool was spectacular…although we weren’t aware it was a saltwater pool. That was fine for us very quiet and safe neighborhood, evening swims are wonderful with the night lights. We had a cooler week in October, so we paid extra to have the pool heated, and we were not disappointed.
We enjoyed our stay !
The house itself is very nice and newly refurbished and the pool area is just fantastic. Bring extra shade in the dead of summer like umbrellas or a tent for near the pool.
The property was very nice!
We stayed in a similar home last year and this one was identical and did not disappoint. We love the convenience of having the pool for the kids and a place for us to read and we don't have to worry about the kids with a fenced yard. It is in a very quiet neighborhood and close to attractions, mini golf, restaurants and shopping. Close enough to the beach to walk there. We love renting a golf cart. The house was clean (it is new construction) and we felt very comfortable there.
